Tea Talk w/Teasip
I'm a HUGE tea lover so when I was asked to do a few tasting videos for the greatest local tea place in Houston, Tea Sip, I jumped at the opportunity! During this quarantine, anything that requires me to get dressed and put on makeup is a welcomed event, but apparently it's also made me a little nuts because I invited my husband to do a few with me, and lets just say he has a way of getting us off topic... I mean, we went from talking about Mojito tea to the movie Flash Dance (queue below video)!
*Note: Full Mojito review is at the bottom of this post
Prior to the quarantine I would frequent Tea Sip at least once a week, if not two, so I was honored when Claire asked me to shoot a few videos. As Dharma would say, "Greg, I would've done this for a box of donuts and a poke in the eye!" But a box full of tea, a diffuser, and a gift card works well too!
HOW I FOUND TEA SIP
As I was leaving Cody's favorite store, Manready Mercantile, (I was picking up some last minute anniversary gifts). I locked eyes with the Tea Sip storefront sign and it drew me in immediately!
I walked in to find tea bags blanketing the walls, funny mugs on display, and hanging test tubes filled with dried tea leaves for my smelling pleasure!
I was greeted by a bright green haired Tessa who spent about a half hour explaining all the teas and the culture that is Tea Sip, and I was hooked right then & there!
TEA TALK TIME!
Alright, and here are all the reviews on the wonderful, magical, unique place that is Tea Sip!
SPILL THE TEA!
Have you been to Tea Sip? Which teas have you tried? Tell me all about it in the comments!
Here is the actual ad/promo video Tea Sip created using the videos I sent them. It's so awesome & weird to scroll Facebook & Instagram and see yourself on an ad!
