9 City Murals + 2 Amazing Restaurants = 1 Stellar 7 year anniversary!

Our friends, Chad & Felicia, decided to visit Fredericksburg to celebrate 11 years of marriage/Valentine's day and they invited us to tag along.  Fredericksburg, or "little Germany," is an adorable quaint town filled with shops, restaurants, and WINE!  They have what is know as the 290 Wine Trail which is home to 15 award winning wineries (hence the "logo")

Cody & I went on a camping trip 2 weeks after meeting each other; It was at the end of August so it was hot & humid and we stayed in a 1 person crawl-in tent.  If our legs touched, they would fuse together due to sweat {defiantly a bonding experience}, it was horrible & hilarious!  Since then, camping has become a tradition so when our friends invited us to Lake Livingston State Park we of course said yes.

300 people came to witness us officially become a family in March 2009. We/I planned the wedding myself, and this was BEFORE Pinterest (probably a blessing in disguise). It was a day full of laughter, fun, and love. Get ready to view a lot of photos!

Today was our first day back to work since Christmas Eve {we had 11 days off of pure bliss} and I’m at war with my eyelids, so much that it inspired me to write a haiku:
