Cypress Breakfast House is an adorable restaurant with a very friendly staff.  The menu is full of hearty classic breakfast favorites, and that's just what we were craving {this is how we kicked off our 6 year wedding anniversary}.

WHAT WE ORDERED

Cody is on a mission to find the best Biscuits & Gravy so of course, he had to order Mama's Biscuits & Gravy which the menu described as, "Fluffy buttermilk biscuits smothered in sausage gravy & 2 farm fresh eggs." But he ate almost all of it before I could get a photo of it... true story!  He did say he wished their gravy had more sausage in it
Picture
I opted for the Eggs Your Way, scrambled with cheese; It came with a side of bacon, hash-browns, & a biscuit {So much food, I couldn't finish it all}.

UPDATE

July 2015
This has now become our regular breakfast spot {when I get up & get ready in time}.  This time, Cody ordered the Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs & I ordered the Mexican Skillet.  1. Holy crap, was that a lot of food and 2. I don't want to try anything else- the Mexican Skillet now holds my heart, It's amazing!
